Lucknow: Lucknow police have arrested a dumper driver, Rajendra Kumar, in connection with a hit-and-run incident that left a couple injured. According to reports, the driver hit the couple and fled the scene.
Following a complaint filed by the deceased’s brother, authorities at Wazirganj Police Station registered a case and launched an investigation. The accused, along with the dumper vehicle, was taken into custody.
The operation was successfully carried out by a team led by Station In-Charge Rajesh Kumar Tripathi. Police have begun interrogating the accused, and a detailed investigation into the incident is ongoing.
